web maintenance

why do web maintenance?

1. An updated website speaks highly of your company. Without words, it is saying that your company is organized enough to take care of even a seemingly superfluous thing like its website, and is therefore capable of taking on more business. It says that your company deals with things now, not later. Have you ever chosen or turned down a company based solely on its website? Was the website outdated? Did it have mistakes?

2. Search engines like Google, Yahoo and msn place more merit on sites that are being frequently updated rather than on sites that have been abandoned. They have a way of knowing when the information was changed and exactly what it was, believe me. This means that to maintain and improve a website's ranking with the search engines, maintenance is crucial.

what is web maintenance?

Together we (you and us) evaluate your clients' response to the website and determine if some areas need to be added to, if we need new or more photos, eliminate discontinued products, enhance new products and services, or change the feel and look of the website altogether. We then give you a quote for the cost, so you can know in advance what it is going to

be, and then we proceed with your approval. Normally, a 10-page website can take somewhere between one and two hours to update text and photos ($27.50 per hour). Maintenance can be done every so often in preestablished intervals, according to your company's search engine ranking objectives and the importance of such rankings to your company. We generally recommend monthly maintenance.

can you give maintenance to a site not created by Webmax?

Yes, as long as the programming allows for changes.
