Webmax Costa Rica develops websites, creating and putting together all pieces of the web puzzle: planning, design, navigation, copywriting, photography, animation, illustration, databases, application programming, optimization (SEO), web promotion and marketing, domain registration, web hosting, and mailboxes. All these activities serve the purpose of building a web presence. We do not sell equipment, configure intranets, or do invoicing programs and the like. Our focus is the communication between you and your clients via the web. Our objective is for you to take the most advantage out of the web investing the least possible quantity of resources.

We started operations in 1990 doing digital graphic design, which back then was a novelty. The company was called A. R. Expresiones Graficas. As our clients started requesting websites, we directed resources towards training in that area until we got a good grip on it. For a few years we did both web and graphic design. However, over time we were able to determine that the web allows a company, large or small, take its message to more potential buyers at a lower price than traditional printed media. The message can also be more dynamic. It is impossible to change prices or offer a new item on a brochure that has been printed and/or distributed, but on the web it is a matter of minutes. Having suffered the limitations of printed media for so long, we feel the web has set us free and that is why we create web content with such passion. We do not do graphic design for print any longer.

Most Webmax Costa Rica projects are the result of close cooperation between all three team members, rotating the work from one to the other as it advances. All three of us are in charge of quality control.

Maico Granados
Programmer

Advances programming student at the Colegio Universitario de Cartago. He writes html, php, javascript, and css, and is in charge of programming the different applications included in our websites: databases, forms, security (passwords), mail senders, and others.

Marconey Arguedas
Web designer

Graduated in Web Design and an advanced student of Graphic Design at Fundatec. He writes html and css, and designs the different versions for the websites and places text and images. He also does photograph touch-ups and animations.
